"Dixie Land" (two-words) or "Dixie's Land" is a nickname used for the southern United States of America. It includes the states: South Carolina, Mississippi, Florida, Alabama, Georgia, Louisiana, Texas, Virginia, Arkansas, North Carolina and Tennessee.

Dixieland (one word) is a type of Jazz music sometimes also called "New Orleans Jazz".
